I have recently become immersed in pursuing my lifelong passion for photography and made the transition from film to digital imaging several years ago. Recently I have upgraded to the new Canon 5D Mark II. My training includes the NYIP course, college courses in black and white photography and photoshop. In addition, I have successfully completed many online photography courses. Several of my images have received finalist and second place recognition in the Betterphoto contests. In addition, two of my images have received "Honorable Mention" by the Gurwin Institute. A selection of my work is currently on exhibit at a local art gallery. Recently I had the honor of having two of my images selected to be included in "Betterphoto Basics, The Absolute Beginner's Guide to Taking Photos like the Pro's". All of my images are shot in RAW and then processed individually and saved as high quality tiffs.
I live on the east coast with my husband, 2 teenagers, 3 dogs and our rescue kitty and thank them endlessly for putting up with my "ever present" camera.
